Get down to your pet’s eye level when taking the photo — this helps us match proportions and create a natural, balanced portrait. Avoid top-down or side-angle shots if possible.
✅ 2. Eyes Slightly Off-Camera Work Best
Photos where your pet is looking slightly to the side (not directly at the camera) often result in the most regal and lifelike compositions. Think noble, not selfie!
✅ 3. Focus on the Face — Close-Ups Are Ideal
Make sure your pet’s face fills most of the frame. We want to capture their unique expression, eyes, nose, and fur texture in sharp detail. Full-body shots aren’t necessary.
✅ 4. Use Good Lighting (Natural is Best!)
Avoid dark or yellow indoor lighting. Outdoor daylight or a bright, naturally lit room will give the best results. Shadows can hide important features.
✅ 5. No Blurry or Pixelated Photos
Sharp, in-focus images are a must! Blurry or low-resolution photos won’t give us enough detail to create a high-quality portrait.
✅ 6. Don’t Crop the Ears or Head
Make sure your pet’s full head and ears are visible in the frame. Cropped or cut-off parts limit our ability to match the head proportionally with the costume template.
